Диалог.
A: Hello! Can I get a ticket please?
B: Hello! What kind of ticket do you need?
A: I don’t know. I just need to get to my hotel to check in.
B: What station is your hotel?
A: It’s on Business Center station, red line.
B: You can buy a single ticket for 1.7, but if you’re staying in the city for a few days, it’s better to buy a travel pass. How long are you going to stay here?
A: One week.
B: Are you going to use public transport every day?
A: I think so.
B: So, you can buy a travel card with a weekly pass. It’s cheaper and more convenient.
A: How much is it?
B: You’ll have to pay 20 dollars. 3 dollars is the price of the card, and 17 will be on your balance. It will be enough for a week.
A: OK. Can I top up the card if I need more money for my trips?
B: Certainly. You can use the ticket machines at any station to top up your card.
A: Great, I’ll take the travel card then. Here’s 20 dollars.
B: Here you go. Your card is ready. Just tap it at the turnstile to enter.
A: Thank you! So, how do I get to the Business Center station?
B: Take the red line (Line 1) in the direction of Downtown. It’s 6 stops from here. Don’t forget to check the metro map — it’s right over there.
A: Got it. Do I need to change trains?
B: No, it’s a direct ride. But if you ever need to transfer, look for signs like "Transfer to Line 2" or listen to announcements.
A: And how will I know when it’s my stop?
B: There are screens inside the train showing the next station, and there’s also an announcement. "Business Center" will be the sixth stop.
A: What if I miss it?
B: No worries! Just get off at the next station, cross to the opposite platform, and take the train back.
A: Okay, and one more thing — is it easy to find the exit at Business Center station?
B: Yes, follow the signs to "Exit A"— it’s the closest to hotels. Oh, and don’t leave your bags on the train! Double-check before you get off.
A: I will! Thanks for your help.
B: You’re welcome! Enjoy your stay in the city.
